critical list

the gradual erosion of civil liberties in the uk has been making me **very angry** for some time. i was going to write a bit about this – but as usual [george monbiot has done it much better than i could](http://www.monbiot.com/archives/2005/10/04/protesters-are-criminals/ “george monbiot on protesting”).

in addition, [the letter that the police gave](http://www.indymedia.org.uk/en/2005/10/324763.html “letter to critical mass”) to critical mass participants in london recently is terrifying and hilarious at the same time. i sense a few extra big rides are in the offing. good luck everyone and keep riding.

also, if you don’t subscribe to [schnews](http://www.schnews.org.uk/ “schnews”), you really should.

One response to critical list

  1. Mr I.M.O.K. Jack said:

what’s the problem? i go to work, i come home. i eat my dinner and watch telly. trevor macdonald gives me a thorough well-rounded view of world events. i go out on friday nights.

no one has ever deprived me of my civil liberties (apart from liberal busybodies trying to stop me having a harmless fag down the pub). seems to me like the only people complaining are those who are up to no good.

and as for those bloody cyclists – i don’t pay my road tax so they can stop me getting home on time. lock ‘em up and throw away the key!

erosion of civil liberties my arse.
